Dr. Deborah Wood

Dr. Deborah Wood is the Practice Owner and only full-time veterinarian at GSVC. She grew up in the mountains of North Carolina in the Mars Hill area and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After graduation, she
practiced in Rocky Mount, VA for a period of time before moving to Oregon with her husband. She practiced in Oregon for seven years until the birth of her 2 children, Michael and Ashley. She chose to move to Washington County in order to be closer to the family.
Dr. Wood began employment at GSVC in 2006 under the employment of Dr. Drexel Hull. In 2017 Dr. Hull announced his intention to retire and sold the practice to Dr. Wood in March of 2018. Her goal is to provide affordable, quality service to all animals and their families through caring, compassionate and exceptional veterinary care.
